This isn't a bad list of games, just in a terrible order, the only game I'm mad for not being on here is Legend of the Seven Stars.

No surprise, plenty of new games in there as the memory of them is fresh. They will move down eventually.

I expect a different list if this was done in the US.

Just surprised there isn't any pokemon

List is more notable for games completely missing from it.

Earthbound gets on there but none of the Mario RPGs do? Witcher 3 makes the cut but no similar well known series like Elder Scrolls, or even the Dark Souls series for that matter?

No kidding!  Did the people they polled forget that Pokemon is an RPG?  lol.

I'm usually the other way around, I'm more nostalgia biased.

I've never played a JRPG before. Well at least, not really

I played Final Fantasy 7 on the PC and got to the part where Barret goes to his village and then you ride a Choccobo, but the PC controls weren't listed, the PS1 ones were, so you had to randomly guess what the controls were, so I stopped playing.

And then I tried Final Fantasy X and I was like "this is the protagonist...?" and stopped playing

And then I got Final Fantasy XV and got in a car the first time. My. God. The. Fucking. Car. Stopped playing.

So yeah, the Final Fantasy games i don't even consider having played them. Cause I never finished one.

On the other hand I have Nier Automata and Persona 5 which I think will be great introductions to JRPG. I'm playing Persona 5 right now and it's just so fucking good! I'll play Nier later. I was so hyped for these games without knowing anything about them, luckily they're worth the money.

As with any best of all times list, one should never look at anything recent. Depending on the industry for years. Such as no movies in the last 5 years can be on a best of all time list. Or in games, maybe 3 years would be good.
