I don't like that thread title, but I didn't know how else to put it.

Anyway, I expect it at The Game Awards 2017. Nintendo shouldn't let MP4 fall off the radar. And they've always had a "big" presence at all TGA shows since their inception (2014 = first BotW gameplay; 2015 = Mario Maker + Iwata tribute; 2016 = BotW again lol).

Am I being silly? Is it an obvious prediction? Probably.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I'm doubtful. TGA would be the best chance, since big 2017 games like Odyssey will be out by then, but I don't think it will happen

Well, you need to explain what do you mean with footage. If you're talking about another teaser (hopefully with some content this time), then I believe it's possible. But if you're talking about gameplay or something similar, then my answer is no.

Maybe at the game awards in December but probably not. Would be nice though.

Not impossible, but very hard to say yes or no since we have no knowledge of when development began. I do think we will see 2018 and beyond games shown off again before the year ends as a way to jump start their 2018 push, with possibly a November or December Direct. Just don't know if Metroid will be there.
