Welcome to greatness.
Everyone posted some great games already, ex bloodborne, Persona 5 etc etc. And I don't want to sound like a broken record.
I like The Order 1886

Very tempting!
90s kid me though wants to see it on Switch yet. Just to have the big 3 mascot platformers of the era (Mario, Sonic, Crash) all one device.
I'm a sick person, I know.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I definitely want to give it a shot if I pick it up for a couple bucks.

Welcome to the best combo, Sony + Nintendo.
Must buys:
Bloodborne, Persona 5, Dark Souls 3, Nier Automata, Yakuza 0.
Also check out Gravity Rush remastered and 2, Resident Evil 7.
Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is similar to Hyrule Warriors only it's open world, has quests and online.
FFX HD & FFXII HD too.

That's a really, really strong endorsement! :D

My personal favorite exclusives are:
Nioh
Persona 5
Dragon Quest Heroes (now on Switch)
Disgaea 5 (now on Switch)
Infamous Second Son
FFXIV (PC also)
And I will pick up DQXI. There are of course many more depending on your preferences.

I have to wait for it to ship a week out from now though. I've waited for a great price, how the mid-gen refreshes shaped up, and the library to evolve. Passed on X1 due to lack of compelling exclusives. The prime day X1 bundle technically was a better deal, but I felt way better about the kind of content and experience I'd get on PS4. Passed on the Pro, because for $150-$200 difference there's a lot of other enjoyment that can be had. Doesn't seem like enough titles make a measurable difference to merit the upgrade. Still own and love all my Nintendo consoles, but there's an element that PS4 could fill that Nintendo consoles couldn't. You know what I mean. Greatness Awaits! |
Congrats, I would highly recomend spending another 80-90 and buying yourself a 2TB drive. That is if you're lazy like me and don't want to have to be constantly erasing and re-downloading titles. I don't have the slim but I would guess Sony has made it easy to swap drives in it as well. Has anyone upgraded their drive in a slim yet? Is it as easy as the original PS4?
