Haha nice one!

As if! Hilarious response anyway. Gotta love fans high fiving each other.

You must get tired being always put in your place. I really wonder what all your interventions are about on this site.

Of course they are, even leading pawn shops are.

I haven't seen a Switch in stock yet or else I would have bought it to resell. I do live near Chicago, in a high population town (Naperville, IL), so that's probably to be expected.

No way. I live in Naperville.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

I had to line for an hour in new York, at Nintendo World, just to get one. It seems like they don't care if there's demand. They want people to line and that's free propaganda for them, you know, the item everyone wants that is out of stock...

They are literally fighting Apple to make the switch. No matter how Mich they care they will be in a loosing battle until those stock issues for that chip are cleared up

So if Switch sells around 150k per week and I presume that's their full production capacity, it means that there's one Switch leaving production line every 4 seconds. Yet it's still not enough to fulfill the demand.

Well considering production in factories look like this:

Then you could actually see it as fairly underwhelming. Of course the Switch is a much more complicated product than bottles of sauce, so factories won't be pumping those out quite as quickly as so You'd imagine they'd be made more quickly though, in the context of a factory 4 seconds is a lot of time.

You forgetting switch vs apple. Shortage of chips and all that

Of course, that's an issue. The parts Nintendo are fighting for however aren't drop-fed to factories, they of course arrive in batches. I believe it would probably be more accurate to say that the average amount of time a Switch leaves the production after the last is fairly underwhelming.

A ause factory is very simple.

A switch factory is more like a car factory.

Besides, opening up more factories takes time and TONNES of money, and they were working on that since febuary after pre orders went out.

If they wanted to limit supply, WHY whould they freaking AIR LIFT switches at launch when every air lifted console is a loss? The increased production should be kicking of soon if not heading to stores anout now.

Although they MIGHT be limiting stock RIGHT now this month to have like a milion units for splatoon launch day in japan. And also more in the rest of the world. They'll definetly airlift to japan this month...

And remember the march stock was around 3 months worth of switches at the very least, maybe even longer. And they are keeping pace with every system's 3 month launch numbers so far to boot.

I only got one because someone alerted me before it sold out on amazon!
