a 4.5 mil install base? home consoles are a dying breed in japan. hell the ps4 only beat the wii ofter the switch announcement in october. while the vita is cruising with near double THAT number (a fanbase that the switch will most likely canibalize) and the 3ds and triple the vitas. MH world exclusivity won't help much when the main draw of MH in japan is portability and local multiplayer. hell the wii U version is the most sold console MH to date. |
Only the Japanese market is tending to change into portables, but still with nearly 3 years in the market almost 5 millions of PS4 is quite very good.
and yeah the switch is a portable with the inclusion that you can use it on your tv.
They're all going to kneel before me once I get my copy and go online lol.

These are japanese people. Even in the Zombie-apocalypse they would ask the zombie politely to please stop chewing my arm.
Dang, that's just harsh. Perhaps they should prioritize certain regions for the next shipments of Switch units...

There's also inevitably going to be a spin-off of this series and I just hope that Nintendo puts some sincere thought into what it will be and not push something out there as fast as possible to milk more money out of Splatoon fans like they did with Animal Crossing and Happy Home Designer/Amiibo Festival. |
Single player focused 3d platformer for the love of Christ. They should just go all out and make something with a good mix of both linear and wide open levels
