That isn't desperation. Where's the bloodshed, the carnage?

This is Japan. They clean up the bodies faster than you can snap a picture.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

At this point, it feels like Splatoon is just as important a franchise for Nintendo in Japan as Pokemon and Animal Crossing. There's also inevitably going to be a spin-off of this series and I just hope that Nintendo puts some sincere thought into what it will be and not push something out there as fast as possible to milk more money out of Splatoon fans like they did with Animal Crossing and Happy Home Designer/Amiibo Festival.

Welp. Maybe apple should go easy on the NAND chips

In other news ps4 is kinda in a fucked in japan which the direction its market if flowing (portable and mobile)

WHY? They are having healthy sales, there are some megatons coming for PS4 in Japan.

Europe is the best territory for PS4 sales, where it's still dominating.

a 4.5 mil install base?

home consoles are a dying breed in japan. hell the ps4 only beat the wii ofter the switch announcement in october.

while the vita is cruising with near double THAT number (a fanbase that the switch will most likely canibalize) and the 3ds and triple the vitas.

MH world exclusivity won't help much when the main draw of MH in japan is portability and local multiplayer. hell the wii U version is the most sold console MH to date.

Hmm? This is rather typical in Japan with many anticipated releases. Heck, if people remember that far, go look at the lines for Tales of Vesperia X360, even that got lines.

The Japanese actually have decency in public. Makes you jealous when you walk into a forsaken Walmart.
