Because everything that is new is garbage.

Yeah. To call modern music garbage is an insult to garbage.

I havnt played the first game. Not sure if i should buy the sequal. I did enjoy Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare. If its similar to that than i might consider

Didn't they already do Rock vs. Pop in Splatoon 1?

You do realize 20 years from now there'll be people saying the same about current music, right?

*sigh*

I'd post loads of examples of great modern music, but it's probably not worth it. But seriously, shit music has always existed and it always will. Some shit music somehow ends up being successful and played everywhere, most shit music remains obscure forever - as does anything else, shit or not. But just because you don't like whatever is playing in the radio doesn't mean everything is crap.

Has nothing to do with the era I grew up. I love so much music it's insane from different genres, decades and centuries. Even if I don't like opera I can appreciate it. There is a wild difference between not liking something and something just flat out bad. I never liked country or western but I can certainly appreciate Frankie Lane,Gene Autry,Johnny Cash but look at a country song of today and it's awful. My uncle listens to it and every song is basically the same. I been involved in the entertainment industry set up singing contests and even been a judge.I been backstage with Davis Gaines. Seth Riggs gave lessons to a family member of mine and she is good but I am blunt as can be when she messes it up even slightly and why she trusts me.

I'm very analytical about style. On key. Choice of song with the voice. Then I have issues of the technicales of how much of the music of today is done. From auto tune to abandoning belting or projecting and yelling instead. The two former are very basics of singing and stage. Turning half a song into filler words. Thinking making it overly catchy makes it good. Modern pop is esp bad. The music often louder than the person singing. From a technical point of view a good chunk of what is popular ESP in the pop world is terrible.

Ice Cream and Pop. Ugh, why must I be a stereotype? >_>

(Formerly RCTjunkie)

Well, considering most great rock bands write their own songs whilst pop stars need to have their hits all written for them because they lack the talent needed to do so, I'm going with rock.

Yay ice cream. :)

Just downloaded the Japanese demo, I'm not really a music guy, but I like Michael Jackson's stuff, and he's the king of Pop, so I'll go with Pop... that's the one on the right side right? :L
