So I forgot to turn off my Switch 2, it was at 100% last Saturday and now today it was at 6% lol. Another reminder why I never put devices to sleep mode.

Anyways, I charged it up to 10% and remembered about the battery glitch where it showed the wrong percentage.

So I went into recovery mode on the Switch 2 (like a guide told me) and that fixed the battery glitch where my percentage changed from 10% to 20% lol

Anyways, played a bit more of Mario Kart World - did 4 cups back to back with the last one I did in this play session was Leaf Cup 50cc.

Love the OST and the races, having so much fun.

(you’ve gotta turn on that “Stop charging at 90%” mode. Otherwise, the battery will rapidly decay overtime.)

Cyberpunk is still delayed to the store I pre-ordered it, so I cancelled it and got a Switch 2 pro controller and bought the game in another store. Looking forward to trying both.

Yep, that was like the first thing I did.

Why did you have an extra Switch 2 system?

pre-ordered a Switch 2 from Walmart but wasn’t going to arrive until late on June 5th. So, I decided impromptu to attend the GameStop midnight launch, and because it was already to late to simply cancel my Walmart Switch 2, I decided to resell it for a marked-up price. (And in defense of my mutiny: I did attempt to sell it to three different friends of mine for $100 below MSRP. None of them were interested, so eBay it was!)

When I got a second Switch 2, you know what I did? I gave it to my sister so we could play together because I am not a scumbag :P

My Console Library:

PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, WiiU, Wii, GCN, N64 SNES, XBO, 360

also, that Switch 2 Joy Cons are very weak. Lol I slammed them together one time (i lost to Birdo at the end of the first race of a grand prix) and the right stick is now completely functionless. For comparison, I slammed my Joy Con 1 controllers together literally hundreds of times every time I played my Switch 1. Whether that be out of frustration or because I was enjoying the music and wanted to clap my hands to the beat but my joy cons were in my hands. No damage whatsoever beyond a few visible scuffs. Heck, i remember my brother chucking a pair of joy cons down a twenty foot building and they were still completely functional. What on earth happened? Cost more, breaks easier?? First time I’ve ever broken a pair of joy cons since 2017.

I believe this is known as 'Karma'

^This. Why would you bang your Joy Cons together?

i got slightly irate by a blue shell at the line… (I genuinely did not slam em too hard…i don’t think. I’m hoping Nintendo will see it and be like, “Factory defect,” and I’ll be good. Should be a free repair.)

Nah man, if you got 'slightly annoyed' by a blue shell in a game famous for blue shells, enough that you break your controller over it...nah. I hope Nintendo gives you the middle finger and tells you to buy replacements.

Treat your brand new 500 dollar game console with some damn respect, dude. Seriously.

I know it's just a video game but that's just absurd that you think that is okay.

Speaking of blue shells, they are not as bad as they were in MK8D.

The amount of time you are immobile isnt as bad as it was on MK8D, at least for me lol.
