Cool!

So what sorts of games are you into? Seems from the games you mentioned you like RPGs, in which case Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3 are worth checking out on Switch. Any other genres you like?

I appreciate the recommendations!

For the most part I'm looking forward to exclusives on the Switch that are better experienced in handheld mode. I'm going for Mario Wonder, BoTW and Pokemon Sword/Shield as my first purchases, but I'm excited for single player games like Luigi's Mansion 3, Pokemon Legends, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, TYD, as well.

It's like they know from Nintendo what's coming next. Or at least they're preparing for whatever Nintendo makes next.

Thanks, Captain! I wouldn't get that from the game's announcement!

Ignored Alien Isolation for the last decade coz I’m not a horror game fan (get that spooks easy) but wanted an October horror game and decided on the Switch version. It’s a lot better and far less scary than originally made myself believe. It’s also an unbelievably good looking port, some slow initial loading screens but seems to play pretty damn good. Enjoying this quite a lot. Also picked up Kirby and the Forgotten Land and that’s a blast!

Ride The Chariot || Games Complete ‘24 Edition

Got my Switch Lite this morning and set everything up.

The Hyrule edition is sleek and feels great holding. I redeemed my code for the online subscription and downloaded the N64/GBA catalog. I like that I can select something and immediately jump in and out of it, rather than downloading a single title. It was honestly more intuitive than I expected lol. I used one of my voucher codes to download Mario Wonder and I'm having a blast. I'm blown away with how great it looks, but the responsive controls, audio, and level design really take it to another level.
