Solid choice for a developer!

Apparently it's also an Unreal Engine game:

https://www.gonintendo.com/contents/41795-mario-luigi-brothership-uses-unreal-engine

A lot of these collabs with external studios (this, Pikmin 4, Yoshi's Crafted World) seem to be taking this route, probably for the sake of developer familiarity. It's easier to just use UE than teach devs how to use Nintendo's in-house technology.

Welp Acquire pretty much exclusively worked on UE 4 during this generation with the Octopath Traveler games and Triangle Strategy so it goes to say  they would likely use it again for this project. Kinda tells a lot about how great UE4 can be in the hands of good devs ... Knowing the woes of UE 5 though ... Ugh I hope they take their time before going for that engine

Glad the studio got the job to flex a bit on this fantastic franchise. Game looks positively awesome ⚡

So it only happens when you put your Switch on sleep mode?

I dont use sleep mode ever so thats good.

Are there any reports of that happening with OLED models? I've seen talk of it only happening in the other models.

It's still an embarassing mistake on Nintendo's part.

Hey all, I'm considering buying a Nintendo Switch Lite and wanted some impressions.

How is handheld mode compared to docked mode? Is it a major difference in terms of performance and graphical quality? I plan on using it mostly in handheld mode as PS5 will still be my primary platform. Would it still be worth buying the OLED model in that scenario?

Handheld mode runs at a lower resolution than docked mode, but can actually look better due to the smaller screen.

If you have the money to spare, the OLED does offer a better handheld experience due to the superior screen, as well as better speakers and more built-in memory.

I ended up settling for the Switch Hyrule Lite. Hopefully I don't regret it lol.

Hope you like it! Is this your first Switch? What games did you pick up?

It is my first Switch.

I'm thinking of BoTW/Mario Odyssey via digital vouchers on the EShop. But I'm starting to talk myself into Pokemon Sword/Shield with Super Mario RPG instead lol. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, Luigi's Mansion 3, and ToTK are on my radar as well.

Cool!

So what sorts of games are you into? Seems from the games you mentioned you like RPGs, in which case Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and 3 are worth checking out on Switch. Any other genres you like?
