Nah... we have no idea if Pokemon Switch is coming this year or next year, it would take a while for the meta game to settle, and either way, that's a good long wait. Everyone has access to Gen 7 right now though. Can you believe that I still don't even have a Switch yet? Me, of all people? At this point, I'm thinking of waiting for the first major Switch revision.

Also, when you say people, do you mean people here on VGChartz, or the competitive community in general? If it's the former, maybe we need this to stir them into action, and if it's the latter, then I regret to inform you that you are mistaken. :)

I'm not big on participating in tournaments, but if anyone here would like to set one up for a specific game, I'd lend a hand :)

Thank you. I'm not big on them either and I've never set one up. I'm blown away at the job Rol does with the yearly NFL Prediction League. But I love Pokemon, and I want to battle and chat with fellow regulars on this site.

With Pokemon's humongous fanbase, it's kind of like Monopoly. There are the official rules, and there are "house rules" with so many permutations that people either swear by or loathe (Smogon). Before declaring a tourney, I not only want to get an idea of how many are interested, but what kind of rules and formats that most folks would generally want to follow, like singles vs. doubles, straight official rules vs. anything goes vs. Smogon rules and clauses, etc.

Weird, why is Bayo 1 ahead of 2 in all regions, and 2 not even charting in Europe? :/

My guess is that the Bayonetta 1 digital codes that come with physical copies of Bayonetta 2 count toward Bayonetta 1's eShop figures.
