Nah... we have no idea if Pokemon Switch is coming this year or next year, it would take a while for the meta game to settle, and either way, that's a good long wait. Everyone has access to Gen 7 right now though. Can you believe that I still don't even have a Switch yet? Me, of all people? At this point, I'm thinking of waiting for the first major Switch revision.
Also, when you say people, do you mean people here on VGChartz, or the competitive community in general? If it's the former, maybe we need this to stir them into action, and if it's the latter, then I regret to inform you that you are mistaken. :)
