The saddest part to me is that I read it as "no, we will still not even consider bringing DQX to the west, put down the hopium".

Around the Network

The network problem happened on the first session in the morning, no one could log in at all lmao, but the network was solid at night, I didn't have any problem and didn't hear of anyone who had. But as a heads-ups, if you plan on playing on a 4K screen, you may want to set the resolution to 1080p, because I saw many people saying the performance is horrible unless you do that. The TV I use is already 1080p, so the performance to me was rock solid all the way through as well.

Ah… good thing I’m seeing this after I did my test run today. Lol! But yeah, as far as performance is concerned, my only complaint is input delay. This could’ve maybe been fixed by lowering the resolution, as you suggest. I must say though that I didn’t even notice the 30FPS, at least not visually. Game looks like it’s running quite well.

As far as my impressions are concerned, …yeah I can’t say my thoughts have changed. I was lukewarm going in and I’m lukewarm coming out. If I want to play a FeomSoft game, I’d sooner go to Elden Ring, Dark Souls, or Bloodbourn than jump into a PvPvE. I’ve never played a FromSoft title before, so these would all be entirely new experiences. Doesn’t seem like it’s a bad game, not by any means, I just wouldn’t want it to be my introduction to FromSoft.

At the risk of spamming/gushing, holy moly Granblue keeps exceeding my expectations.

One thing I really love it that it puts a lot of situational variety into its action scenes in a way that you rarely see in RPGs, some of which are almost more like something you'd see in a  full-on action adventure title.

Really didn't expect to be loving it this much, terrific game.
