Enough memory? They could have the entire NES and SNES library a thousand times over on a cart...

Even better!! A cart of all their first party NES games would be a big hit, so would one of all their first party Super NES games!!

I might have exaggerated a bit, but yeah, it would be cool from a fans persepective. It just doesnt make any sense from a business perspective.

Then why did the Mario Galaxy Collection for Switch sell so well?

Well thats two games in the same franchise. They did that with Pikmin 1 and 2 as well. A NES and SNES collection would sell well, but Nintendo online would suffer from it. Also less people would buy these games in the future. Why sell a NES collection with say 20 NES games for like 40$ when they could probably do the same thing with 5 NES Mario games for 40$? Like they did with the Super Mario All-Stars on the Wii.

So what if Nintendo Online suffered for it?

Nintendo would make less money. Like I said it would be great for us, but probably not for Nintendo in the long run.

Well it's not like we can make Nintendo Online last forever. That's why I wanted the compilation carts.

Miyazaki’s latest project since Elden Ring. Very interested to see how this’ll turn out. Also(!) FYI sign ups for the network test open sometime next week (7/22 - 7/28 IIRC).
