What would happen to Switch and Switch 2 production if Nintendo found alternative RAM a d memory parts during the shortages? Would we possibly have more or less powerful Switch and Switch 2 consoles?

The point of console hardware is that it's static. Doesn't change. The RAM would be the same regardless of who Nintendo buys it from. The only difference would be the costs. There's no such thing as buying RAM from a different manufacturer suddenly makes the consoles more powerful lol

So it's good if they can get it cheaper?

Oh definitely! Lowkey, I wish China would flood the market with cheap tech components yesterday to bring down costs across the board. But.....politics.

Man I'm loving all the native PC ports from N64 games lately. Even though this port brings 60+FPS, 4K resolution, and widescreen support, I'm more excited that it's also adding mod support for time saver mods like Tag Anywhere, where you can swap Kong's on the spot instead of having to go to a barrel to switch.

Thanks for nothing, America and China.

Welcome back man.

I just wrapped up playing every route/stage of Starfox, had an absolute blast with it as someone who grew up with the original, fantastic modernization that makes me psyched to see Ocarina receive similar treatment later this year.

Wiped out atm after overdosing on coffee to get through a long work day, but tomorrow I'm gonna get stuck back in DMC5, which I put on pause to play Starfox, but was also quite enjoying.

Nice! Star Fox sounds like it was a big hit. Really excited to dig my teeth into it. (Also apparently the game outperformed 64 DS and Zero by 70% and +100% respectively in UK launch week data. Very promising sign for the franchise if you ask me.)

Yeah hopefully it does well so we can finally get a sequel. Let us know what you think once you've played it.

Just 9 days now til Granblue Fantasy Relink which is my next Switch 2 purchase. Also keen for Splatoon Raiders and Cultic later in July.

Anyone catching the Splatoon Raiders Direct in a few hours?

It's on at midnight here and I'm wiped out, so I'll just check it out tomorrow morning.

It'll be nice to get a closer look at what exactly the game will offer; as someone who really enjoyed the campaigns of prior games, I'm anticipating it keenly.

I’m going in totally blind. This, FE, and OoT are my most highly anticipated releases this year, and want to be totally surprised upon first booting the game. Super pumped for this one!

Alrighty, I am the opposite, I wanna know more! I am the least patient person on the planet and I crave knowledge and information like a drug haha, all my life I have devoured books and other sources constantly to learn as much as I can about things that interest me.

But yeah its one of my most anticipated as well, as is Ocarina.
