I must applaud Nintendo, we had so many discussions about GKC and digital games suck blahblah, physical is the way to go....But nobody is really talking about it in this case and it got Number 1.

I'm part of the problem lol - I pre-ordered both Fire Red and Leaf Green lol

I recently did Pokémon Violet and am now playing Persona 3 Reload.

SW2 helps a lot to paper over the cracks with S/V. There's still some blatantly poor and unpolished areas but I had a good time with it. Also it doesn't give much direction on the order to do things so I had to look that up to avoid just barreling in to way higher level places lmao.

So after just playing an hour I have to say....the character models look good, the main character doesnt look soulless like 8th gen's so thats an improvement

But the environment looks horrible, like a in between of N64 and GCN era style. Its like 3DS visual level but they forgot to raise the resolution output for it so it looks so bad , like if you were to play GTA5 on PC at super low settings lol.

When I saw the water at the beach before the first battle, I was like Super Mario Sunshine (OG) from Gamecube had better water animation and that was back in 2003.

They need to make a new Paper Mario that plays like The Thousand Year Door.

Just 100%ed Escape from Ever After on hard mode, would DEFINITELY recommend it if you love the classic Paper Mario Formula

Man I just saw the BeatEmUps video about Metroid Prime 4 and it really kinda opened my eyes a bit more towards the game. The way it kinda gives you the illusion of being more open and how it literally lies to you about it. Now I didnt really mind being told were to go as much as others, there should have been an option to turn off the guidance. I had some issues when playing the game, but there was always something to distract me from thinking about it too much. This video just highlighted some of the frustrations I had with the game, but didnt mind too much because the gameplay itself was fun for most of the time. But with that I will have to lower my score to an 8/10. I still think the game is great, but I cant ignore the faults it has.

Been playing Pokemon Legends Z-A for about 5 hours and I think Im done here. The combat is just not fun. It was ok at first, but man does it become tedious. Too bad since I really loved Arceus. Its also just such a cheap looking game. Arceus was at times as well, but this is just next level laziness.

I think they did that a long time ago...

I did find my new favorite Pokemon though.

His name is Trubbish and he is literally made up of garbage.

At least he's not Jim Sterling.

So I've played 3 hours of Pokemon Scarlet

Its...pretty bad. The character models look great, better than 8th gen games.

The Enviroments look...like a mixture of N64 and GCN era visual style. Its like they didnt even try.

Also the field battle looks whack, the cinematic view style that the previous games had is only in major battles like against the rival as far as I see.

The trainer and wild battles look pretty bad....

Anyways, gonna continue on, I'm glad I didnt play this on the Switch 1 lol.

Also screenshot time, photo mode is nice, every game needs it lol

I also booted up Pokemon GO on my iPhone 17 Pro Max and....have to say the new updated models look worse than the original
