SW2 helps a lot to paper over the cracks with S/V. There's still some blatantly poor and unpolished areas but I had a good time with it. Also it doesn't give much direction on the order to do things so I had to look that up to avoid just barreling in to way higher level places lmao. |
So after just playing an hour I have to say....the character models look good, the main character doesnt look soulless like 8th gen's so thats an improvement
But the environment looks horrible, like a in between of N64 and GCN era style. Its like 3DS visual level but they forgot to raise the resolution output for it so it looks so bad , like if you were to play GTA5 on PC at super low settings lol.
When I saw the water at the beach before the first battle, I was like Super Mario Sunshine (OG) from Gamecube had better water animation and that was back in 2003.
