Alright, there’s a bombshell Nintendo Direct coming next week. I refuse to get my hopes up on 3D Mario nor a Zelda OoT/WW/TP remake… so I’ll just assume this direct is focused on game releasing through September 2026. No major holiday titles to be revealed, just more on what we already know. I have no interest in repeating being let down by sky-high expectations like in September last year.

I feel like Nintendo was on a bit of a hot streak up until the September Direct. I’m just eager to learn a little more about this year… so far, the most we’ve seen of any of the upcoming releases is the overview trailer for Mario Tennis Fever. Not much details on the story or anything really.
