I just got the bike but saved and quit there, will report back tonight once I have the chance to take it for a spin.

IDK about the biking in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, but i do know that bike IRL is quite awful ATM. My front tire has low pressure, and its cold out (which prolly explains the low tire pressure), so it’s really hard to pedal a cycle on the bike.

I'm looking forward to it because it looks like a fun way to take out enemies. And Samus can do the Akira slide.

So far it's probably the best Prime game along with the first, it's the first game's templates with the third game's elements only better execution than Corruption. For all the moaning about npcs in the run up to release they fit the game very well they feel more like the NPCs in Half-life who join you for bits of the game here and there but that's it.

I have a feeling they're gonna be killed by the bad guys just to rip out players' hearts. Like when Mother Brain killed the baby Metroid at the end of Super Metroid.

Have you been looking out for Cranky Kong?

I found him and Rambi in the hilltop layer but can’t reach him so I gave up 

edit: just looked it up, I’ll try it again when I play the game later today
