Nintendo should do like what they did with Pikmin 3/4, where Pikmin 3 followed the design philosophy of Pikmin 1 && Pikmin 4 followed the design philosophy of Pikmin 2. I.e. instead of basing LM4 off of LM2/3, they should base it off of LM1. I love the original Luigi’s Mansion!… the other two never stuck for me.

So it should take place in a new haunted mansion?

they should literally just make Pikmin 5 and call it Luigi’s Mansion 4. It’d make a great trojan horse fir arguably the greatest gaming series ever created!
