Its just remake of the old music? Sounds all the same to me.

Really? I heard it was completely redone and certain parts were new.

Redoing the music could jsut mean that they re-recorded it to get better sound quality.

To be honest I don't like at all the new artstyle. Despite the lack fo detail/resultion I think the OG still looks better.

Well i that just means that they rerecorded it. Im not an expert though but it sounds the same to me from what I've played

Just finished the first game... getting all the colored gems and gold relics is going to be an absolute nightmare.

Fantastic remake though, it's everything I could have ever wanted!

I think I'm going to have to replay Boulder Dash in the original game, because I swear the boulder is faster in N. Sane Trilogy than it is in the original. It just catches Crash even on seemingly near-perfect runs after the checkpoint with the TNT near it, and I don't remember even having much trouble with that level in the original. The game was hard, but I don't remember that particular level being hard.

Other than that, at least the first game was an excellent remake. Analog controls felt really strange in the first game, so I had to switch to using directional buttons, but after that, I couldn't even notice any difference for the most part. I think it's still slightly less responsive than the original, but it's really close. And I could finally enjoy the bonus levels as well! I have no idea how anyone could have completed them AND collected all boxes in them in the original game, considering you had only one try per level run. But on to the next two games next, having completed the first one!

I am honestly surprised that people are having issues with boulder stages. Saw alpha die over and over aswell and hyped he could get to a checkpoint. I honestly did them all in the first try/gold trial and gems aswell (second one need purple gem tho).  And oh yeah you can not die aswell in the first crash bandicoot if you want to collect the gem in a stage it is hard but doable, I am having a lot more issues with the Gold relics (have now two platinum ones).  Now at 90% done in the first game.

I got the gem in the first boulder level without dying on my first try, I think, and it wasn't even tough. The second one, on the other hand... Ugh! I'm going to replay the level in both the original and the remake to see if it's been changed. And I know about the coloured gems, it's a bit ridiculous considering the bonus levels as well, but should be doable with enough determination (and tries). Not sure I'm going to get all the gems though, it's a huge pain. I agree, the time trials are hard - but in my opinion, that goes well along the general difficulty of the game.

I'm pretty sure they redid all sounds. The other possibility is that something went horribly wrong when recording music for the original games, and a lot of details were lost. There's comparisons on YouTube and it's easy to notice the difference from them if you can't notice the difference without a comparison.

My brother died so much on the native fortress stage one of the question mark blocks turned into an additional checkpoint, I didn't know that was even a thing.

And I've definitely seen a ? box turn in to an aku aku box too, that was right next to the checkpoint I kept respawning at so was easy to spot the change

Yeah that definitely happens in all three games, never seen one turn into a checkpoint ever though xD. He did die about 20 times...

I bought the game yesterday. I died 5 times on the first level.

The gems aren't that hard some levels are just a pain in the ass (like spinning a enemy into boxes and then find out n cortex symbol was in it and get lost)...The game could have used a restart level option instead of quitting the level and start it again X_X...

Surprisingly slipperly climb I got the gem in the first try and the gold relic aswell;

I am now at 96% only need two levels gem/Gold relic and am finished.

Completed World of final fantasy and got the platinum in it (including open all chest trophy X°X).
Because of that insane trophy hoped I could relieve stress with crash...nope XD.
