Forums - Gaming - Microsoft vs. Nintendo vs. Sony: Seventh Generation Games Comparison.

I don't think this list should be taken too seriously. I don't think you can say the one with the most is the best, as it is purely subjective what games each individual likes. There are certainly some games that got ridiculously high scores in my opinion. Perfect Dark Zero, both Killzones, all MLB, Resistance games (seriously, these games are terrible, I don't get why they became so popular), Mario Kart Wii, SingStar.
And some games, like Pandora's Tower should have gotten a better score.
What the list does show though is that all three companies did a good job at building a diverse lineup that is also different from each other.

Sony always wins baby, cant beat Sony

btw, you missed WipEout HD/Pure 89%, prolly missing others

Wipeout is a PS1 game. Pure is not owned by any of the first party publishers so don't know why you'd bring it up.

Thanks for the feedback though.

WipEout HD Fury is a PS3 game, if you made your research you'd have found it out. Literally all you needed to do was to click and google it.

And no it's not a remaster, it has enough new content to be its own game, the Pure expansion more than justifies it.

Lmao at "Wipeout is a PS1 game", that IP has been on every PS console since the PS1.

I always forget how close Gran Turismo 5 came to Forza Motorsport 4. 84 vs 91... ouch

that's why you only need a playstation and nothing else.

Some want to have their share of Nintendo and/or Microsoft games. Why only PlayStation when there are other games that aren't on PlayStation?

As for the OP, I'm curious to see how the handhelds fare.

Yes, this is true....but luckily for Sony they excel in multiple genres internally. ;)

By your list, if you wanted to play the two highest rated games of the seventh generation you had to have a Wii, though. That counts for something.

Actually no, The two highest rated games of the gen were GTA IV and GTA V, you could play them on everything But the Wii.

The joys of the words "by your list"

Perhaps you could make that topic, I've never owned a handheld or ever plan to in the future so my curiosity level for how they fared is quite low if not non-existent.
