1. Someone saying a Switch TV should be made. A console meant to be SWITCHABLE...locked to a TV ._.

Why not? Would be a cheaper device as well. Not everyone actually gives a crap about handhelds.
monocle_layton said: 2. The Switch apparently is weak because the Joycons. You know, it's totally not because it's $299 and the strongest handheld you can get with a 3 hour battery |
And yet. The console could be more powerful. With longer battery life.

Do you have a link to someone making this kind of claim? Because it is nonsensical.

4. Switch is a flop because the PS4 (on pace to outsell the Wii) is being outsold. Not like it being a juggernaut and the Switch experiencing stock issues impacts it at all.

The Switch is far from a flop.

People gotta learn to not say dumb shit like this. I mean, come on. We're better than this. What are we, IGN? The youtube comment section?

It's only "dumb" in your opinion. Some of it is legitimate needs/wants/desires.

The Gamecube was a powerful console, but look at what happened.

The gamecubes hardware wasn't what stopped it from being a sales powerhouse.
In-fact the Gamecubes hardware would eventually become the basis for the Wii anyway.

The Gamecube didn't use DVD-9 discs like the PS2 and Xbox and it also didn't have a full second analog stick. Games like GTA 3 would have been nearly impossible. That argument (Gamecube was powerful and it failed) has always been a total fail and it needs to stop being used. Power was not what killed the Gamecube. Limited media did it in.

Exactly. The Gamecube failed not because of it's hardware capabilities but for a plethora of other reasons, like not adopting industry standards such as CD and DVD which was a big selling point for the Playstation 2.
Besides, going with more moderate hardware obviously does not guarentee success either. The Wii U being a prime example.
Contrary to popular belief you can have power, affordability, great games and be successfull. Sony did it this generation with the venerable Playstation 4.
