Finally some good news on this front.Hopefully this means it wont be as hard to find one, and the vaseline sales for Japan will be at least 40k going foward

Yes, this should prevent people from getting butthurt.

LMAO, that was totally unintended.

My typing skills are simply horrible today.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

But it's still a perfect combo and makes total sense.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Sorry to hear it Ka-pi. You're not the only one I've heard give up on the system. Nintendo has definitely lost a half a million or so impulse buys already. They'll see more and more pass by if they don't change things.

If Nintendo keeps crancking out wanted titles, Ka-pi wil be back op team NS once stock issues are solved.

The more impulse buyers may be a problem, but if supply issues are solved next year then they might get the impluse again .

Nintendo really underestimated the Switch, shortages have been worse than the Wii era.

To be fair, who didn't?

How good it feels to live in a country where we usually don´t experience many shortages but sad at the same time that there are shortages in other countries.

Good, they need much higher stocks for Splatoon2 launch and they better dont have any stock problems for holiday season.

To be somewhat fair to Nintendo, the Switch had more doubts than optimism going for it from when it was revealed in October up to its launch, and after what happened with the Wii U (and to a lesser extent, the 3DS), I'd be very cautious about how many of my newest system I ship out as well.
But now that is obvious as the sun rising in the morning that the Switch will be a huge success, their inability to meet demand up to this point is bewildering. I'd HOPE that they have a lot of stock for the Switch for next month, given how they've got one of their biggest IPs, ESPECIALLY in Japan launching, and that IP has proven to be a bonafide system seller (The Wii U outsold the PS4 in Japan during June 2015 thanks to Splatoon 1, and that year was the system's highest selling year in that region), otherwise they are REALLY incompetent when it comes to stocking their system.

Many people on here said it'd do well. However, people teased us and said it'd be the next Wii U and be dead after Zelda launches

I did expect Switch to do well, but who really expected to do Wii level well?
