Played a free picross-look-alike demo on the 24th and that was fun in co-op, although a bit laggy in the biggest puzzle.

I'm eyeing Picross S for some more multiplayer challenges... maybe when it's on discount (lol never since it's from Nintendo)

Considering it's 6.99 I think... it's possibly the best value for money you can get if you enjoy the type of game that Picross S is (but I would really advise turning off the clue lines in it if you've played a picross game before, they would make it far too easy.)

That's every puzzle complete, on normal and Mega picross level, it's definitely worth getting.

Thanks for the recommendation. How's the puzzles/challenge compared to the DS/3DS? Seems like the Switch version has no touch controls. Still, it's a big candidate for whenever I buy more eShop games!

I'm not sure how to say with Picross, if you've played the games before you'll know more or less what to expect, there was very few of the puzzles even in the mega picross which exceeded 40 mins for me having played the DS 2d and 3d titles to completion, to put it in perspective of my skill, that picross clone colours demo which released, the sledding one 35x25 (which indeed lagged like hell putting the brown markers into the top area for me also) took me 95mins while chilling out watching some WWE, I wasn't rushing but yeah if you done that puzzle in 5 mins you're going to maul the Picross S puzzles in no time flat.

I want to like this game SO badly, I really do - but the controls PISS ME OFF!!!!!! For a game the requires fast reflexes most of the time - to have push a button three or four times in order for it to respond, is just TOTALLY unacceptable!!!!

Edit: After posting this, I decided to play the game in portable mode and it does seem to work much better. So the issue is how the game works with the Pro Controller as there is DEFINITELY a lag between when you hit the button and something actually happens...   ...and by "lag", I mean it totally ignores your friggin' input!!! I have to push the button two, three, sometimes FOUR times to open a damn door!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Yeah, I know what you mean.  Several times I wondered if I wasn't pushing the button right/too softly.  Thanks for confirming it's not just me.
