Forums - Gaming - Konami STILL blacklisting Hideo Kojima and ex-employees

Hideo Kojima has only made the first chapter in MGS5. The rest he was in a room and worked on the real end and the sequences - without his team. This is in the solution book and was also a news in the past. He also wanted another story for Phantom Pain, but Konami wanted to repeat missions in Chapter 2 and no "outer heaven/zanzibar"-stuff. Chapter 3 was completely deleted. Hideo Kojima wanted to return the "Ground Zero" prison in Phantom Pain, but no chance - konami wanted it not :( really sad.

The production costs were so high, because the game was developed on 4 systems (with pc? Then 5). The team had to share, there were difficulties. The biggest reason, however, is that Konami wanted to decide how the story goes -.- MGS5 could have become incredible (like MGS 1-4), but so ..

It is no wonder that so many employees have gone. Not just people from the MGS team, many other developers of Konami also.

And not only that, but Konami will ACTIVELY try to make your life hell and keep you from getting a job outside the company. They won't even let you list them as a former employer FFS.

I hope Japan reworks their pachinko laws (it's a form of gambling, last I checked, isn't that illegal?) and Konami goes out of business, these motherfuckers truly deserve it. I never say that about any company.

And the funny thing is, I've had several people tell me "oh, Konami isn't eligible to be considered the worst AAA games company ever, they don't really make games, anymore". Bullshit like this is why they belong in the "worst company ever" discussion. Seriously, this is next level archaic bullshit. Name ONE other company that actively goes out of their way to keep ex-employees from getting new jobs or receiving health insurance. You can't because such a company doesn't exist.

Fuck Konami. They've earned their shit reputation, nobody "sullied" it you cocksuckers.

For me it's fuck konami until they release a new Castlevania that's good. I'm not holding grudges against them, that's just corny. Give me a good game and don't care about the rest.

The fact that Kojima Productions haven't yet gotten into a huge co-operative organization in which Konami happens to be a member doesn't necessarily mean it's Konami pulling strings.
I mean sure, FucKonami, but don't gobble up any piece of negative news about them with no critical thought at all.

#FucKonami

Did he fuck all the wives of the board members or something...?

Probably. I mean, would you be able to resist the Kojima's metal gear, solid? I think not

All of this because Kojima said Metal Gear is about political fiction and espionage and not about zombies??!

He didn't even talk shit about the new metal gear lol, just that adding zombies wasn't his idea.

I guess the crowd laughing really caused severe asspain at Konami.

Actually, the Chairman of Kanto IT (the company that denied Kojima Productions health insurance) is also a board member at Konami, so yes, they hae been pulling strings.

And it doesn't stop there: he's not actually supposed to have the final say on the matter. According to Kanto's policy, applications are held to a vote of the board members:

So not only have they been denying KP health coverage just for the sake of being assholes, but they've been skirting standard procedure to do it. Fuck Konami, I hope they go belly up.

If you give these pieces of shit money (and that's exactly what you're doing by buying their games new), you're basically supporting them, so you're part of the problem.

I'm not buying anything from them ever again. I don't care if Metal Gear Survive gets a 90+ on Metacritic (it won't), I'm not giving them another cent of my money after all the BS they've pulled, it's the principle of the matter.

That's cool with me. I'm not saying they aren't in the wrong, I'm just saying from my personal standpoint, I won't not buy a game from them in the future if it's genuinely good, but I guess I'm not principled that way. I mean, I might buy second hand, that's acceptable yes?
