Around the Network

I'm interested in 5 of the games.

I'm interested in Xenoblade, Metroid (YAY!!) and Super Mario Odyssey.

7 not sure about rocket league!

Switch!!!

I can't believe it, but all eight I want to at least try. That puts it above Sony/MS for me, since I didn't care about over half the stuff they showed.

Around the Network

Well, FIFA, Arms and Splatoon were also shown.

10 years greatest game event!

bets: [peak year] [+], [1], [2], [3], [4]

Someone should make a "guess the release date" thread for Metroid and Pokemon Switch...

At least they announced something.

Second half of 2018. Do you believe that Nintendo has such a shortage of games that they would have to reach for 2019?

I believe that revealing a game without having anything to show strongly suggests it's a long way out.

Xenoblade, Mario oddessy, Yoshi.
So 3.

Then you don't know Nintendo. New Super Mario Bros. 2 went from logo announcement to release in half a year.

Your conclusion that MP4 is a long way out is as reasonable as suggesting that it will release in half a year.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 essentially uses an engine and assets they'd created already. The difference in workload between the two titles is too massive for that comparison to be overly relevant. I really doubt Metroid Prime 4 releases before 2019.

Zelda was delayed years, when announced with a date. There's no reason to believe that Metroid is coming out in 2018.

If it is coming in 2018 we'll know within a year anyway, but I'm almost certain it won't.
