I'm out. I think I had enough arguments when XCX came out too, that I'm tired about this subject.

It's not. Kunihiko Tanaka's art direction is part of the spirit of the Xeno franchise, from Xenogears, to Xenosaga, to Xenoblade Chronicles X. It's as bad of decision in regards to the art direction, as it was for the audio direction when they took Mitsuda out of the equation for XCX.
That said, I can live without Kunihiko Tanaka's character art in the same way I can live without Mitsuda's music, because other elements look interesting to me. Although, I think it would be ideal to have Soraya Saga, Kunihiko Tanaka, and Mitsuda all working on the next Xeno game.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

| Namiirei said: Horrible character-design (this main character...the heroine...god, please no) Horrible voice-acting (and of course, we will never get the VO) Poor graphics ( Xeno X looks better, seriously) Yeah, not really hyped for this game. |
What's wrong with the main heroine's design?
Seems some people just don't like the change in art design for the characters, which is fine. It's certainly going with a more anime style here. However, seeing how the character designs were pretty weak in XCX and I'd say mediocre in XC, I'm surprised that this is such a sticking point.

Probably everything.
(clothes, character figure, face, shoes, etc)

I didn't watch the Treehouse stream, does this game still retain the auto-attacks ? It's the only thing that prevents me from playing the first two, even if I own both of them.
The music that was found on Nintendo's website is as fantastic as the original Xenoblade's which is great because great music is probably one of the most important elements of a good JRPG. Aslo, I'm glad we're not getting engrish lyrics this time around like in XCX; I like Hiroyuki Sawano as a composer but his lyrics suck and he always gets the same engrish singers for his vocals.

From what I remember from the Treehouse segment, you can't just run around in circles and auto-attack like in the last two games; you have to stay still to trigger it. Auto-attacks can also combo up to three times I think.

...what? I don't get it, what is wrong with auto attacks?

It's good, but Gameplay, story/characters are first before music, obviously. Music is here to help the gameplay or some cutscenes to be better.
Anyway, the musics :
