I personally like name DreamCube better than GameCast.
I wonder if Apple will come out with ICube or ICast. ;)
Does that answer your question. ;)

The Dreamcast was an excellent system for how short of a life it had, but the Gamecube's longer life and greater third party support ensured that its overall line-up was far better.

well if your going to respond in the thread you should also answer the question if not just PM them about it
Personally i like the Dreamcast better for the time althought i was dissapointed when my uncle traded his N64 in for it but i grew to like it
Dreamcast by miles. Many, many miles. The Gamecube was a flawed concept of a console with no discernible reason for why it existed other than to follow the PS2 into the next generation. The Dreamcast was innovative beyond belief and helped shape the online landscape of today's consoles, and still has a better online experience than the Wii somehow, let alone the 4 games that were online capable on the Cube.
Dreamcast was also built around arcade boards tech which made porting arcade games to the Dreamcast a very simple process. For those of us who grew up in the arcades, this was a huge win.
Tons of the good dreamcast games got ported over or had sequels on the Gamecube so id have to say the Gamecube since it had a majority of the worth while Dreamcast games. There were still a lot of gems to be played on the Dreamcast but not enough to overcome the Gamecube games that werent on the Dreamcast. If Seaman was on the Gamecube I would be in heaven.
I owned both systems, Dreamcast had many good games, shame that didn't last that long, after that all my love went to the gamecube. then I spent a lot of time with my gamecube
