Come on, that will happen next year or so. As we are saying about home consoles, we should sum up X1 with PS4 and then handhelds are already far behind.

That's true. But as it seems we are not getting more handhelds and Switch itself is more like a home console that can also be used on-the-go, it's just a matter of time before home consoles are ahead.

Japan is the thing that determine if Monster Hunter is going to be a success and the Japanese LOVE mobile gaming. If anything, the MH Ps4 should be worried about the MH Switch.

MH World should outsell MH XX on Switch. MH World should be treated as a main entry for sales comparisons (just under a million in JP, slightly above MH2).

any word on how exactly this is more westernised yet? I didn't like the 3DS version that much because of all the messing around before each hunt, hopefully that is streamlined for a start.

Nope, when this sells 3 million between three platforms and MH5 sells five million on one platform, Capcom will know where to put MH6.

World is meant to sell in the West, not Japan. PC and XBO do make a difference here.

not a big difference though, even something like FFXV only had 20% of it's console sales on Xbox One. This will likely be under 10% Xbox

PC might be ok, but given the sales won't be that great anyway coupled with very low Xbox interest, I wonder if porting it will even justify it's cost

It's not portable. It won't sell that well in Japan. It will still sell well worldwide and is great for Sony, but I doubt it will outsell MH XX because that is portable.
