Its not just the "4k" but also the fact that some games do get more stable framerates.

Do you think that's worth the investment?

Yeah, hence why im seriously considering it.

How much costs a Pro and a 4K tv out there?

Arround the same as in the U.S as in 100 dollars more expensive than a regular PS4, however i said i would get one on December but what i really meant was Black Friday (i got confused there) since i would obviously get it with a good discount, and yeah in my country we do have our own small version of black friday (not every store does it but there are some really good deals with stuff like consoles, tvs, PCs etc).

And depending on what deals i see on Amazon i could even import one, but needless to say it would have to be a really good deal.

20% is a pretty big share.

Nice! That's a very good ratio imo!

Probably less than those people who want to inflate expectations in order to then discredit the sales numbers when they better expectation.

This should stop the talk of the Pro being a failure but it won't. Somehow people will twist it to make 1 in 5 sound bad.

Edit - VGPolyglot was in pretty quick. I expected at least 10 posts before the doom comments.

Man, you guys are way too sensitive when it comes to talking about the glorious masters that are Sony. All I was doing was asking a question. It was a genuine question, because I wanted to know what the ratio that they were expecting was. There was no hidden agenda there.

My apologies. It's hard to get the context of the message in text. It could be interpreted a couple of ways. I just know there are a few on here that have been saying that the Pro failed. I had that at the back of my mind when I read your comment.

I thought it would be as quiet as a church mouse in a library, wearing mittens while sat on a downy pillow.

Lol 😄

20% is not bad considering you really need a 4K TV to make use of it (which is another $1000-$3000 expense).

They've said before that they make more profit on a PS4 Pro over a regular PS4, so it's probably letting them earn a nice a chunk of change.

The positive spin is just that, spin. Hopefully this teaches them and anyone else that's paying attention, that mid cycle upgrades are junk. These aren't cell phones. People do NOT feel the same way about game consoles. Full generational leaps from here on out.

just how are these numbers bad? Besides, Nintendo has done it too and it has proven to extend at least a bit the lifespan of the device. I don't think it matters if the basic model plays the game aswell.
