This thread is awful. I remember the first roast thread we had back in the day. That was classic. People hit each other with attacks that were actually FUNNY! It's only par for this site though that continues to decline in almost every aspect.

This isn't a roast thread it's an express your opinions in an unfiltered way, thread. It's not intended to be funny, but to be discussing without the fear of getting banned. Unless you personally insult etc. 

I absolutely hate boutros. He's a scumbag. He creates the greatest thread ever in the history of Vgchartz and then keeps us waiting in suspense for the updates. I'll never forgive him!

This is catagorically untrue. This is what I'm talking about. It has a high production, big band soundtrack. It has inputs that require more than just one or two buttons. It has original character design by some of the best in the industry, being compared constantly with the likes of Overwatch. It has good and varied stage design, aesthetically, thematically, and mechanically. It has varied characters with differing playstyles, an assortment of eclectic weapons that are interchangeable. It has a novel combat premise. It has the typical grab, hit, block triangle.

I'm not saying that you have to like it, but comparing it to the shallowness of a party game mini-game is incredibly ignorant. Arms is more comparable to the first Smash Bros., or the original SF2 if anything.

Oh, here's something: political threads don't belong on the front page. This is a gaming website and the political threads here are vile and rampant with ignorance on all sides. But worst of all is that they're off topic. This is something unanimously agreed upon - no one here thinks that a political thread here has been constructive or informative or enlightening, yet we continue to let them tarnish the front page instead of banishing them to be an ubscure pimple buried in the depths of the forums where they belong.
