Nintendo is currently hurting itself with these production problems. Get hustlin', boys.

You'd think the Switch as a whole would be relatively easy to produce (and they apparently started several months before launch), so i wonder if there's a specific piece that's holding things back. That or they underestimated demand so much that they're having to get more production lines opened.
It will be boring to watch until Nintendo ups the production/stock of the Switch.
Anyway, for people making fun of the Japanese market this week, go take a look at big markets like UK, Germany and France. It's normal to see the top selling game doing only 8k or so.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

They actually hurt himself even more with overstocked Wii U.

They several times said that demand is stronger than they thought it will be. We also had WJ report after Switch launch where they said that Nintendo decided to double this years Switch production from 8m to 16m units after great launch and huge demand, but doubling production requres time.
Another slow week all around.
How long is this going to last?

Yeah, but that's normal for those countries. Japan however used to be a much more important market, it really has seen quite a decline over the last couple of decades! |
People need to stop living in the past though and accept that Japan is now a market similar in size to the UK, France and Germany.
Ubi getting consistent support in all regions for their service game models.
