Leave handhelds to Nintendo, and consoles to them

Have you not paid attention to video game history? In the handheld market Nintendo has allowed their competitors to have a tech advantage every single time and Nintendo won every time regardless. The thought that a competitor with better tech would pose a threat to Nintendo is hilarious. |
Nintendo needs 100% of this market now, they cannot afford to split even 20-30% of the market, people are not going to buy two $300 portable consoles. It's hard enough dealing with tablets and giant size phones being everywhere.
Sony should keep their nose out of it, they have the PS4, they don't need to come and stir the hornet's nest, if they do I would aggressively look to fuck them up, no more letting them have the full stationary console market and then just walk in and take a piece of this pie too when they already have a full pie on their plate ... no, Sony, you wanna do this and you're gonna get hurt.
As usual too I think SuperMetalDave is reaching ... like Square-Enix's president talked about supporting a PSP3 in his comments, and NO ONE in the media or hundreds of websites, Twitter feeds, etc. etc. etc. noticed that? Give me a break, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. More likely the article he is quoting had a bunch of bullshit added at the end of it.
Also 1 TFLOP+ performance at 5-6 watts is bullshit on AMD's part. If they could achieve that performance per watt they'd have smartphone and tablet makers falling over themselves for 2-3 watt versions of said chip.
I'd be cautious. Wait a couple years and see how they treat the handheld.
I would. I miss having a portable console and, so far, the Nintendo Switch does not have enough games in my opinion.
Make it compatible with the PSP RPGs and go for it.
Also, make it like the Switch, compatible with TVs

Switch is 8 weeks old and has like 50 games available for it. Give it some time.

I will.
No. I'd give it a couple of years for them to convince me they're serious this time.
