I have not seen the Direct. The game has bored me enough already. I don't get the hype at all.

Same here. But it seems we are the exception on this board.

This game is supposed to be Nintendo's Killer instinct or Street Fighter (all age appropriate fighter game). I'm really not excited about the two upcoming IP's and feel like Nintendo is wasting valuable resource on Arms and Splatoon 2. Kids friendly version of fighter genre and FPS genre. I wouldn't care if there was something else coming that I really enjoy before this holiday season.

Then what is Smash?

Nintendo continues the tradition since Wii U of  big nice asses in their games.

Nintendo understands fan service. Just a couple hours and their plan is already working .

I know you guys are probably joking, but I honestly think this is something Nintendo really has figured out in the past decade or so: getting sexy fanservice characters into its games to get that crowd's attention on its IP and sell extra merch on the side. Zero Suit Samus and Bayonetta in Smash, the touchy-feely mode in Fire Emblem: Fates, bathing suits in the Xenoblade games. The anime industry thrives off of this sort of thing. That's why you can't find a single anime series without at least one boobylicious character for that crowd to buy up figures and dakimakura pillows for.

Day one... oh wait I have already pre-order it on the same day pre-orders became available!

Switch!!!

Well then watch Direct, it was really great ND.

I just don't understand the appeal of this game. It looks like a more involved Punch-Out!, but not in a good way.

No, still don't see why people are so hyped up about this game. It's easily the least interesting Nintendo title coming to the Switch for me.

Assuming its this year, XC 2 would be the game. And we will have a couple of surprises at E3.

Oh, there is DQ XI somewhere this year too, I hope.

Don't get my hopes up.... XC 2 this year in NA, I refuse to believe it until I get a copy in my hands.

Have you not read what he said about not being in Arms. This direct was boring as F, it was way too long and covered nothing but Arms and a lackluster Splatoon 2 single player preview. The direct only shows Arms and Splatoon 2 single, there is zero other Switch news. Dont waste your time unless your actually interest in Arms or Splatoon 2.

Game looks awesome, Nintendo likely has another big winner here. They are the best developer on the planet and reaffirming that. This and Splatoon 2 are going to kill it.

This looks like an arcade game prime Sega in the Dreamcast era would've made.
