umm why are you calling out the Nintendo fans? you do realize this is a Nintendo thread about positive Nintendo news? maybe you should call out the shitposters who came in saying irrelevant things like

Because it never constantly happens the other way around does it... It's always Nintendo fans talking about Sony fans...

Anyways I didn't really see anything regarding your statement, expect for maybe a response to some ignorant statements that just shows the opposite of what you're saying.

Just crazy if you put everything into perspective. March/April vs holiday season. $300 and no game vs $250 and a game bundled. And yet Switch still sells more, not to mention remains supply constrained. Nintendo is on to something with this thing..

 I guess I missed the part where Wii U was a massive success. 

Well even great games cant save dead system, for instance MK8 arrived on Wii U 1.5 year after Wii U launch, when Wii U was already considered for failed console. Saying that, SM3DW, MK8D, Smash, Splatoon, Mario Maker...did pushed Wii U but they didnt could save dead console.

But in any case, of course that Nintendo games are selling Nintendo hardware.

In general sure, hence the numbers it got, but compared to Wii U I'd say it was always inherently more desirable but I guess that's besides the point. Basically any system regardless of it's quality can have a good launch during the holidays, but to have a good launch outside of the holidays the system needs to actually be good.

right opinions? how can a opinion be right or wrong? and I hope nintendo makes a few good games so I can buy their consoles at least on playstation I have the best third party games to play :)

Splatoon 2 will be massive if they can carry the momentum and positive vibe until July. Just not sure how it is going to do that, maybe minecraft helped, but a Mario Kart DLC would be good too
