BTW Disgaea 6 will be announced this TGS, can't wait for it.

I'm guessing it's pretty much confirmed at this point that it'll get a Switch release, which would be a bigger deal since it would most likely release on the same date as the PS4 version.

Much better game than something like 1,2 Switch, bomberman, shovel knight, blaster master ect.

Hopefully Nintendo guys continue to support it.

I know I shouldn't do this, but here we go anyway. Which one of them have you played?

ROTK didn't though. Other JRPG's close to Disgaea 5 didn't so much either. So far Switch doesn't have that type of audience. But we already know PS4 has that type of audience. I really want Switch to have that type of audience so more and more of those games get made for Switch and PS4, and are more profitable.

I guess you mean they didn't sell well, 'cause you seems to be asnwering to it instead of me saying Disgaea didn't well in Japan, otherwise you mean they didn't underperform there thus did well xP

Anyway, I really want NIS to get the kind of sales their games deserve, gladly we in the west are getting more and more into them, but Japan is just shruging it off, damn Japan, what happened to you...

Didn't bomb.

Basically shows their is an audience for niche Japanese game on the Switch and shows that unlike Wii U owners Switch owners are willing to buy third party games even if they are ports.

NIS is known for publishing crappy games together with their own great games. They also do it very frequently. I'm sure the Japanese are still into SRPGS, this game released with the Switch at launch and it doesn't have that much of a fan base in Japan.

So NIS' reputation, plus launch day of a new console, plus overall lack of interest in the franchise itself.

I really hope that Disgaea 5 will sell even better than this 110k. Having NISA on board could prove very beneficial, as they could provide content for a couple of niches.

Not sure why you would bundle the first two with the last two? Shovel Knight and Blaster Master are great games. Especially Shovel Knight.

As far as it's still on the PS4, I don't mind it.
The better for NIS.

VITA support will crumble as time passes on. NIS will continue to put out games for PS4 and Switch, if these numbers tell anything at least.

Switch being succesful is pretty important to NIS going forward I think.

Japan just has me sad with the way some of this games are starting to perform over there, and then we have mobile games with the worst bussiness practices that ive seen in any game (literally just gambling), making over 2 million dollars a month...

At least we still have games like Nier Automata or Nioh coming from there but even those games dont sell nearly as well as they deserve...
