Forums - Sony - Could Knack 2 end up being...Good?

Like every sequal to any game. Its possible. However Knack.. not something ill be jumping up and down for. Mario Odyssey will be out this year (Hopefully) so that will fulfill your platforming needs with nothing more than premium quality game design.

Some of us are tired of Mario and/or have no intention of buying a Switch.

I am expecting this one to be much better than the prequel because the developers have much more experience now.

Not if Jim Sterling has to say anything about it.

He will help push it to 100, just you wait!

I've just had a thought...what if he gives it a 7 or better? The internet will lose it's fucking mind.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Well Knack was not really bad, so why would Knack 2 being good be a suprise? That game received way too much hate IMO.

Personally, i'd rather play Knack 2 than Horizon Zero Dawn. So indeed better for me than most high profile first party Sony game this year so far.

The first one was pretty good, so if the 2nd one addresses some of the issues, no doubt it will be good. Maybe even great.

Why do people even compare it to Mario? They are not even the same genre really. Mario is a straight platformer. Knack is more of a beat em up.

beats me. I see it as a game, not as a genre.
