Part of the "doomed" part is the assumption of bankrupcy. 

I want to see Final Fantasy IX get the same treatment as Final Fantasy VII.

Now, with that out of the way, I'd probably want to see something out of left field like Mother 4 or LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 3.

Alan Wake 2.

FFXV was my game of the year. Its combat was kinda bland, but I don't grab FF for combat. The story was told poorly, but the story itself was amazing once you pieced it together. (I'm a big Souls fan, so I don't mind piecing stories together.) The characters are some of the best written in video games today, I love how Noctis subverted my every expectation of him.

My dream E3 announcements:

FFVIIR/KH3 on Switch. I'm not confident in either, but the meltdowns would be glorious.

I'd also kill for XBCX on Switch, Bayonetta 3 on Switch, and/or Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on Switch.

All of those are likely to happen, especially the last three, but my craziest dream? Metroid Prime 4 with HD Trilogy pack-in.

Cell shaded updated Chrono Trigger remake

Either Persona 5 Arena, or a Persona spinoff on Switch that looks like this:

On topic, Final Fantasy VII Remake isn't episodic, is coming out the next day and is fully exclusive to PS4 :)

Bloodborne 2 is in development with a launch window of April 2018.

PS1 and PS2 disc-dependant emulation on the PS4.

Users can insert PS3 discs into the PS4 to allow for unlimited play of the corresponding game on PlayStation Now, as long as they are a Plus member.

Promise to increase the flow of PS1 and PS2 digital titles with included Trophy support, starting with the complete Legacy of Kain series.
