Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft Xbox E3 is going to be so huge.

They announce stuff and then cancel. Too hyper, no focus. I do not like it.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

This E3 has been years in the making.

Its time.

When will you xbox guys realise that since the original xbox, it's been a failure, with the same emphasis on the same franchises gears and halo, forza being hyped, and failing on generating a solid list of first party titles, which is so inferior when compared to nintendo and Sony. I thought people would have realised towards the end of of xbox 360 not to fall for the same tricks, yet they still support the console through the xbox one, the worst of all time, and will still be there on the Scorpio. No matter how good e3 is, it will just be another hype job.

Ironic you're talking about focusing on the same franchises while sporting an account named after the character in a franchise about to see it's 13th release hyped up at this years E3 LOL.

Anyway, not everyone gives a shit about Sony or Nintendo games. Even with how awesome Nintendo games were on the Wii U, I owned 3 of their games. And even given how great people claim Sonys first party is, on my PS4 I own a Sony remaster that was packed in, I owned and sold #Driveclub and I owned and sold Horizon. I think that's it. And hey even for Microsoft, I own... Rare Replay? I bought Ryse, though that's 2nd party. I own Recore. I own both versions of Ori. I'm probably forgetting something but that might be it. So nothing amazing on any platform for me. I play mostly multiplats. I prefer Xbox because the UI, system features, and controller are all much superior to me. Oh, and the network for PSN is kind of a joke and I'm big on online gaming. And you're right, I'll support the Scorpio because it gives me all of that, AND is the most powerful console ever :)

Just because you're not drawn to something or don't see the appeal doesn't mean there's nothing there for anyone else or that people are being tricked.

I'm surprised with the current weekly sales of xbone vs ps4 (1/3). Whats going on?

Doubtful. Sony has most, if not all, the big 3rd party game advertising, so they'll be showing off gameplay for the big ones. And not too sure what new 1st party games Xbox will have, other than the obvious ones. I really just expect Scorpio announcements, like release date and price, with some comparison gameplay. Plus a few smaller multiplat gameplay vids/trailers.

They still lack identity. They'll take any game from anyone at this rate. Spencer also conceded the issues with Single player games...which is telling about how the games sell on their platform. I think its not just sales but a quality control issue that Microsoft has always had. Ill agree with you that Microsofts existence with the 360 was night and day different than the xbox one, but honestly, Listing Rare games didnt stop rare from losing respect as a developer while under Microsoft. They will need a miracle to get back in everyones graces. I mean Guerilla game never fell as far as Rare, but today they are one of the top Studios now after the Killzone series fell.

I don't disagree with you. Identity is a big issue with Xbox Right now.
Especially as Sony seems to have taken the dude-bro Call of Duty culture away from Microsoft and Halo, Gears is sadly in decline.

As for Rare. I have actually enjoyed their games, they weren't amazing smash-hit run-aways like what we saw on the Nintendo 64, but they were enjoyable for what they were. Kameo is actually one of my favorite games of last gen.

How many games have they really cancelled? Fable Legends (which sucked based on the beta), Scalebound, and technically Phantom Dust, but the port happening should have been the original plan.

They've delivered a lot but as well but people forget.
