Ensemble Studios. - Age of Empires. Bought a PC in the 90's which had that game bundled with Windows 98. Lots of childhood memories.
Age of Empires 2 was an amazing game. I'm a big RTS fan.

FASA studios, Digital Anvil and Lionhead though.

Yeah, Microsoft should not be trusted with taking in studios. They have the worst track record of the big three with harnessing their abilities and making them into great studios. Lionhead was a huge letdown, not just because of Microsofts management, but also because Molyneux sold us a false RPG experience that was not coming. The first Fable was promising but I dont know what to think anymore. This E3 couldnt come any sooner. I mean, I would love to get the scorpio to upgrade my exclusives, but what studios can make use of the scorpio outside of the big three? They need to make dedicated studios that follow their orders and focus on one game forever. That seems to be how they like to do things.

A simple port with some tweaks is fine as long as its priced accordingly. You can complain but its obviously better than nothing.

And it doesn't look that bad thanks to relatively high texture quality and character models for the time.

For the record, I've actually played some OG Xbox relativaly recently assuming you can see my sig. My biggest gripe with playing games from previous gens is often the low resolution. I even play Wii games on PC simply for a the resolution boost, just a measly 720p is a world of difference over 480p.
