Ah I love these replies of "I doubt it", it's so fun when people eat crow. Just like how they couldn't top E3 2015, they did. And a "few surprises" is what most conferences have. If they have Bloodborne 2, Sucker Punch new IP and a new 2nd party exclusive game, that should be enough for a great conference. Just seeing more Spiderman and GoW is going to be great. And honestly, I expect 1 more, so a total of 4 new games.

I have no doubt Sony will have a great E3.

It's the delivery afterwards that's not always so great.

What does that even mean? The presentation? Because Sony's E3 2016 had the best pacing ever, not just Sony's but conference ever. Even E3 2015 had amazing pacing.

Sorry, I should have been more clear: Sony E3 announces games but they don't always release in a timely fashion, to say the least.

Whilst I am sure Sony will have a great conference, I don't think Shinobi was implying anything specific. He was just saying that he expects Sony to have a typically good conference.

I agree. I think he's just talking about Sony generally having great conferences.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

They need to focus on getting all the games they've announced over the years out the door first.

Stop announcing and start releasing I say.

We still don't have firm release dates Detroit, Spider-Man, Days gone, The last of us 2, Shenmue 3, God of war, Gran Turismo Sport. In my opinion, they need to announce release dates for said games, hopefully some this year, then save new game announcements for tgs, gamescom, Paris games week, and PSX.

That's true. I think that's why they didn't announce many dates last year. Can't delay a game that doesn't have a release date or window.

I expect to see Days Gone By gameplay, GofW gameplay, Gran Turismo gameplay, that Kojima game, something something gameplay.
And 3rd party stuff: Red Dead and CofD.
No PSVITA, of course.
I do expect to see a PSVR title or two and maybe two exclusive unnanouced games. Which ones? Dunno.
Probably RESISTANCE and LAST OF US2.
What I really wanted: SIREN BLOOD CURSE 2.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

that tweet doesn't suggest to me that he knows anything in particular

doubt it is going to match the last couple, they keep blowing their load too early

It's better to get them sometime than never at all.

They can destroy TLG, FF7R, S3 and Horizon 2015 conference with just three letters.

I'm with you there.  Well, not destroy.  But, I would still love a remake.

@ OP

I'm expecting maybe one big announcement.  Possibly a PS4 Twisted Metal, but this time more along the lines of Black.  Focusing on the drivers of each car and not just the cars, like the PS3 one did.  And possibly a smaller announcement of a Spryo Trilogy, remade like the Crash Trilogy.  For the rest, I mostly expect gameplay of already announced games.  Gameplay of Death Stranding, RDR2, Last of Us 2, and Dreams.  I hope we see some more gameplay of FF7:R, with a possible release date announcement, hopefully for Chapter 1 to hit later this year.  If they plan to launch it next year, they need to at least release a demo for the game.  Sony announcing it available on PSN as soon as their conference is over would be awesome.  I also expect to see more gamplay for Days Gone, GT Sport, and GOW.

No expectations from Sony for me this year. Only thing I hope to hear about is a Sucker Punch game being announced and released this year, otherwise most of Sony's big guns have already been announced or released like:

GG: Horizon
ND: TLOU2
PP: GT Sport
Insomniac: Spider Man, R&C
PS VR studios: ...
Bend: Days Gone
SSM: GoW
MLB Factory: MLB

Guess we can hope for a nice third party deal, but Sony probably spent all their money procuring advertising rights for RDR, SW, CoD etc.

Not always: I'm sure there are those out there who would have preferred No Man's Sky never release. Not at $60 a pop anyways but that was the price at launch.
