Hahaha yes he did, but he has been bettered by Cory Barlog, Yoko Taro and Stigs Ausmussen at his own game.

Yoko Taro is the creative mind behind the game. He's never been one for making big decisions on gameplay systems and mechanics.

According to whom as it's leagues above the original on all aspects, I don't count the salt views that are just there for shade. I can go into detail in why it's better than the original and can do a comparision with it and Nier if you want.

I preferred Bayonetta 1 over 2. That homage to space harrier took it easy beyond Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta felt short and rushed in comparison to Bayonetta 1.

 

Agree though ,nier automata is one my best games this gen and one of the best games I've played. The way it tells stories, the types of gameplay, and the variety of side quests makes this game a one off a kind.

Yeah, it's my first Persona game (well I had bought P4G a while ago when I had a vita but I never got around to playing it either)

I'll probably play Nioh after Nier.

According to myself and those I know who have played both games. I've played both Bayonetta 1 and 2 to completion. *shrug*

I can't think of a single aspect that makes it better outside of the graphical increases.

Otherwise, I really like what I have seen of it. I haven't played yet because I'm about a year behind on releases for the most part, but I look forward to playing it in the future. Whether it will be my favourite Platinum game I don't know, as Bayonetta 1+2, W101 and Vanquish were all great

Uncharted plots are above most in the industry. It's one of the reasons why naughty dog is one of the top ten most influential debate for sure

Keyboard and mouse support for the game isn't great at all.. My biggest issue with it. It actually made me stop playing the game, after about 20 minutes in. I'm not using a controller on PC. I don't care what genre it is.

Havnt played Nier yet so I wouldnt know about that comparison, but rather that Bayo 2 was was released this gen.
