Wow. Threads like this make me happy. :)
Seeing how the game has performed (1.5M on the WiiU, 14.54M on Switch) with a bright future ahead of it.

And 10M seemed ambitious.

It's still selling above RRP in the uk, £55 ($ 70) in stores and £60 ($75) on the eshop, this is £10 ($12) above the default price for new games. Yet despite the hefty price for an old game it continues to chart practically every week in the uk top 20. Nintendo must be extremely happy with aonuma san. I don't expect that nintendo sell it below the original RRP in other countries either. Even games like uncharted 4 and last of us needed massive discounts and pack in sales to pass 15 million.

Just shows how Botw literally made the brand explode. 10 million seemed really optimistic and now it has high chances of breaking double that number.... that's CRAZY.

Aonuma is the producer, but Hidemaro Fujibayashi is the powerhouse behind the new Zelda, back to the roots.

Aonuma don't finished the first Zelda.
