Forums - Nintendo - Top 5 Reasons Why PlayStation Gamers Might Want Nintendo Switch...

There are many good reasons to get a switch- this video wasn't effective at showing them.

Unfortunately, seems like a lot of gamers are toxic. They have this strange idea that you can only enjoy one platform. While they argue over useless things, I guess it'll be fun playing Nier Automata and BotW :)

The only things stopping me from getting the switch is the paid subscription and Ryzen 7. I already don't like that I'm paying for PS+.

Also, I'm building a new Ryzen 7 PC tomorrow, so I wont have money for the switch anymore. I was interested, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards... At least not now, anyway. Bit of a shame. I was looking forward to getting my first nintendo console, but I NEED a new computer with more than 4 cores.

5) it comes with a normal usb chargeing cable (instead of some perpriorty bs). - I own a Playstation 4 and this also has has a normal usb charger cord. Ala Samsung Galaxy/ Tablet/ Kindle.

4) not limited by (internet) connection, single player games should all run. - Most if not EVERY Playstation single player game can be played offline.

3) Nintendo has tons of experiance already designing handhelds. - As far as handhelds go I own a Vita, and must say, it is indeed the BEST handheld that I have ever purchased/Owned.

2) Breath of the wild, launch title. - I just picked up Horizon Zero Dawn. BOTW looks good as well though.

1) its both a handheld and a home console. - Ill wait for a complete review of this. Maybe when I get my hands on one at Best Buy kiosk.

I understand. But let me offer a different point of view.

5. I also own a PS4 and several devices that use Micro USB. I own a PS3 that used Mini USB. At one point, that was "normal". Now, even though I still use a few devices that support Mini USB, Micro is better.

The next step is USB C. My new phone uses this format and I love it. Nintendo going with USB C is a good thing. It's forward thinking and it will be the new standard.

In addition to that, they support Micro SD. As a fellow Vita owner, you have to appreciate that. I actually bought a 32gb Vita memory card for $100 the day before Vita launched. That card has been full for YEARS and their cards are still expensive.  I can't even get the free PS+ titles because I just don't have any more room. These are things the Switch is doing right.

I could go into your other responses but I don't want to write a book.

Alot of those reasons are like "wtf" you couldnt think of something better to say?

Yep, pretty much.

5) wtf?

4) wtf?

3) So?

2) Not interested.

1) I only game on my couch and as a home console this thing is not up to par.
