I agree. People compare mostly the raw power and ignore all the other stuff like display, HD Rumbe, Motion Controls, Accessories and so on.

Out what you listed I can only agree with the added cost of a screen.

As I've read, the HD Rumble is pretty expensive. That's why the Pro Controller is also that more expensive. But I guess we have to wait for launch and see if someone dares to take it apart.

My perspective is that this price sucks.

Nintendos problem is going to be selling this thing to their handheld crowd. Handhelds do better the cheaper they are. Even the 250$ launch price of the the 3DS was too high, for it to get that crowd. I think the Switch needs a 50$ pricedrop around christmas to be interesting to the 3DS crowd at all. 200$ will probably be the sweetspot for handheld upgraders.

I have nothing official, I just picked that one up and it sounds solid.

Increasing the price just because you put a few more cheap rotors into the peripherals doesn't sound solid to me. It's just a very convenient detail for people trying to defend the price. Wonder how many expensive rotors they've put in that $90 dock.

I recommend to wait and see.

I'll come back to you on Friday when my dock doesn't vibrate.

The issue with pricing is that... It's competitors are not only more powerful (Xbox One and Playstation 4), but they are cheaper, have larger game library's, give away games with their subscription, cheaper accessories and more... Today.

Not to mention you don't have to rebuy the same emulation every new system!

but yeahhhh.... no. It's not worth $300. Hell, I'll go as far as to say $250 is pushing it with its weak initial lineup. Only major game is BotW which is also for Wii U
