Also it's worth noting that Developers can no longer choose to use Higher Memory Bandwidth when undocked.

The whole concept is just a complete pain in the arse. Probably why a lot of 3rd party love it, but won't develop for it.

Can you point me to a handheld that can play games like Breath of the Wild on the go?

It's worth every penny, comrade

I have about an hour and a half throughout my work day where I'm free to do what I like, and sometimes more time on certain days. I'll probably be using my switch a lot during these times, but I won't have my dock with me. But I'll have a USB charger. So, this will be pretty useful for me.

Yeah it is useful for that, didn't think about using it as a handheld while charging.

It's homeconsole thats portable not a handheld, that's Nintendo choice. It's underpowered.
Great news, and opens the possibility to a future gpu upclock in docked mode (where battery is no issue). Heat could be a problem but may be resolved with an rpm increase in the fan.

Switch is a device portable in nature (could work without dock, whereas dock is reliant on switch etc). You can believe the "portable home console" marketing if you choose, but still can't deny facts. The ONLY TRUE aspect that Nintendo gives in respects to the home console, is not the dock itself, but the improved clock speeds in docked mode. Its a nice little touch that Nintendo did not have to provide. But even with that, Switch is a portable console through and through, and simply adds convenience w/dock for tv output instead of the clumsy cable or laggy stream solution.
