Anyone else think 343 should work on a new IP & save Halo 6 for the next Xbox?

I know for most games split screen isnt a biggie but for Halo it was a huge loss. Outside of Mario Kart it is THE split screen game.

Theres really no point in starting a new project. I wouldnt care if they make it exclusive to Scorpio and use the full protential of that beast instead and use the extra year or two on polishing. 343 have done a great job when it comes to the visuals, polish and gameplay catagories. Just need an amazing story thats not chopped up like Halo 5 and we are in for a treat.

Good news. Split screen was always a big draw for the series. These days I can barely find any games that support it :( Ok, Im maybe exaggerating it a bit but the numbers did went down.

Stupid MS can't please you with another game that is going to sell millions but is not liked by you.

For the few people that still play together, this is awesome news! There are way too few games that allow local co-op.

I haven't played Halo much since Reach but the lack of splitscreen seemed a very odd omission from 5 considering that's really the only way my friends and I played it since it first came out. The game was always much more fun co-op, so this news is very welcome. 

I played like a single match over Christmas. Sure there are changes and improvements, but... Like I said.
I got bored and moved onto other games, I have 500+ games on PC and a similar amount on Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One combined. So if a game let's me down, it's rare I go back, I'll just move onto something else.. Especially these days where it's like there is a big AAA game about to be released constantly.
