Co-op based. I don't know if I can enjoy playing Mario alone again.

Definitely Mario 64 style. Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, which has the same style, are my 2 favourite platformers of all time.

I love the 3D Land style of Mario. It's fast paced, has great platforming segments, without all the filler. My favorite mario game of all time...so far.

Literally never been a open world Mario game. Mario 64 is Regional world. You have a hub and other separate areas that are accessed by progression. It seems so few know what Open World actually means. That said I can go either way. Super Mario World I feel is the best Mario game ever made. Mario 64 and 3D world are my fave 3D Mario games.

Mario 64 style for sure! But I still love the Galaxy and 3D Land/World games, too.

Galaxy > SM64 >>>> 3D
If you are going to put 3D land and world in the same league as galaxy. Than those games where rather poor in my opinion.

I honestly don't know. I clicked the last option in the poll because it's the closest to how I feel about modern Mario.
I hate the way the NSMB series controls, wich makes them borderline unplayable to me and I've never played any of the open world style 3D marios. I'd like to play sunshine once (if) it comes out on VC.
Of the levels based 3D Marios I found 3D World to be much more fun in Co-op than in single player, and the little I've played of Mario Galaxy seemed fun enough. Eh?
