They both are great systems, but the DS is obviously better. Even in my opinion.

The PSP has 115 titles over 70%. The DS has 110 in the same range. DS has a bigger variety, though--you can satisfy your craving for any genre quite nicely.

Facts would help support your position. Which genre(s) is PSP lacking in? PSP doesn't seem to be focused in one genre, so the library seems diverse to me. This is easier to prove wrong than it is to prove right, so maybe you can help.
My support: the top 10 PSP games' genres:
DS top 10:
Systems owned: Nintendo 64, GameCube, Xbox 360, Atari 7800, Genesis, PlayStation, Dreamcast, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS.
Year-end predictions (April 6, 2008):

Me? or segajon
just sayin ds is pokemon and 100 mario games that have been made before but now with a different name
In my opinion the DS is better because it has many games that can't be experienced on other systems. Games such as Nintendogs, Brain Training, Phantom Hourglass etc are exclusive to the DS. In the case of Phantom hourglass, the game is built around the touch screen and is therefore quite different to its console equivalent. Althought the PSP also has exclusives, they are often too similar to the PS2 versions to warrant the purchase.

Of course, There are NO rpgs, metroid, zelda, etc games on the ds. It's only pokemon, and mario.
Oh and let's not forget CoD 4. The ds doesn't have that.
